Like all of you, we are very concerned about the impact COVID-19 (coronavirus) is having on individuals, families, and communities throughout the country. These times are truly unprecedented, and we continue to learn more each and every day. During this time, we know keeping you informed is more important than ever right now and wanted to share with you how we are doing our part to protect the community, customers, and employees.
Home is everything. Because home is so important, our mission provides each of our customers with peace of mind during the solar process. In times of uncertainty, it is more critical than ever that our extended community has access to that same protection.
Here are some of the steps we are taking at Kuubix Energy to ensure the safety and protection of the community we serve.
Virtual In-Home Appointments: With the advancement of technology we can meet with you via computer software that can keep you safe from being exposed to someone unknowingly carrying the virus. We understand many people still prefer in-person communication, but with the ongoing situation, we have been forced to keep almost all communication to be done virtually using phone and video.
Digital Proposals: Your solar design, information, and the contract can all be sent digitally via email or other means. We are a green company and proposals can be reviewed online, eliminating the need to meet face-to-face.
E-Sign Documents: All contracts and required utility interconnection documents can be review and signed using DocuSign.
System Monitoring: With our partner Sunnova your Solar systems are actively monitored by a dedicated team using a mix of Wi-Fi and cellular connections.
As we proceed to monitor COVID-19, our employees’ health is at the center of all of our arrangements. We are remaining open and conducting business calmly and rationally. The situation demands caution, attention, and action but not fear or overreaction.
Kuubix has chosen to implement work-at-home practices for office employees where necessary and feasible and implemented strict protocols that maximize interpersonal space for those still working at the office.
Our installers work in small teams of 5, which is considerably below the recommend Government 10-person minimum. Site surveyors operate individually and require little to no contact with others. Additionally, Kuubix has purchased face masks, gloves, and sanitizing supplies that are stocked for installer vehicles.
All Kuubix employees have been notified of all safety and disinfecting procedures during this time.
During a difficult time like this, we believe it is best to step up and help. We are so thankful for the medical professionals in our communities that are working at the forefront of COVID-19.
We wanted to do more to show our support. This is why we took it upon ourselves to sew facemasks for our local medical provider Kaweah Delta. While exercising social distancing, our staff banned together and sewed numerous masks. Several of our staff members did not know how to sew but learned the night before just so they could do their part too. We hope this small act can help aid in the lack of protection medical professionals are experiencing.
We will continue to do what we can to protect our staff and our community.
